Every photographs in Japan,
Only one almanac
To coincide with the Day of Photography on June 1st, the Photographic Society of Japan has been publishing “Japan Photo Almanac” since 1958. As the Society had been categorized as a Public Interest Incorporated Association in 2011, the contents has been modified to make the Almanac more accessible and appealing to the general public. The current Almanac not only reports on events and developments in Japanese photographic culture during the previous year, but also provides information about photography-related organizations, art galleries and people whose activities were outstanding in the previous year, information on new products, and photographic industry news. “Japan Photo Almanac 2014” covers the period from January 1 through December 31, 2013.
