Chapter 2
“Roundtable Discussion :Photography 2010” discusses on remarkable works selected from among those publicized in exhibitions, albums and various events. Panelists are Kotaro IIZAWA, a critic, Yuri MITSUDA, a curator of Shoto Museum, Rei MASUDA, the chief curator of Tokyo National Museum of Modern Art, and the coordinator is Manabu TORIHARA, a critic of photography.
Chapter 4
“News 2010 in Japan” is the chronology of major photographic events in Japan during the period from January 1 through December 31, 2010. The compiler is Manabu TORIHARA. Two special reports are included in this chapter, namely
“Towards Establishment of Photography Conservation Centre “by Norihiko MATSUMOTO, and “International Photo Festival in Higashikawa-cho” by Aki KUSUMOTO.
Chapter 5
“Overseas News” covers photographic activities in five countries, including Viet-Nam in this volume. U.S. is covered by Misako OBA, a photographer living in U.S., China by Rumiko ISHIDA, a curator of Tokyo Photographic Museum and Mark Pearson, who is running a photo gallery at Roppongi Tokyo and staying in Japan now for the past 29 years, Korea by Kim In Sook, a young Korean photographer, and Viet-Nam by Teruyo IWAHORI who is paying an endeavor to the cultural exchange between Viet-Nam and Japan after repeated visits at Viet-Nam, and France by India DHARGALKAR, a photo consultant living in Paris.

Special Feature 2 reporting in detail the “Exhibition IKKO NARAHARA The Sky in my Hands 1954-2004”, which was the target of a broad public interest.
The reporter is Noriko TSUTATANI, a curator of Shimane Prefectural Museum, who was the coordinator of this exhibition.
